Objective of the Game:

"What in the Mental Health is Going On?!", created by Like Charlie, aims to encourage openness and spread positivity in the world. The game offers entertainment and creates valuable moments of connection and awareness. Together, we break the stigma surrounding mental health.

The questions are all framed positively, and with the three different themes, the game offers plenty of fun. In one of the three themes, Connection Cards, the questions are designed to foster deeper conversations. This will lead to valuable moments of connection and awareness. You really get to know your fellow players, which forms the basis for more meaningful relationships and deeper friendships.

Players, Target Audience, and Location:

The game is best suited for 2 to 6 players, but you can also play it solo or with more than six people. The recommended minimum age is 12, but if you’re younger and interested, you’re welcome to join in. Keep the game out of reach of children under 5 years old. Dutch edition.

The game can be played in various locations, such as on the beach, in the park, while taking a walk, or at home around the dining table. It is best played with people you trust.

52 cards, including 1 instruction card and three categories, each with 17 cards:

1. Connection Cards: questions and prompts for deeper conversations.
2. Wellbeing Wonders: questions and prompts based on educational insights.
3. Positivity Portraits: lighthearted questions and prompts to boost positivity.
   

How to Play:

Shuffle all cards and place the stack in the middle. Decide who will draw the first card, then choose one of the two ways to play:

1. You always ask the question to the player on your left, who then draws the next card, or
2. You ask the question to a person of your choice, who then draws the next card.

Read the information on the card slowly from top to bottom. Some cards also contain a prompt that you should complete together. Once you’ve finished with a card, it’s no longer part of the game. This game is not about speed. Take your time, and if needed, use all the questions on the card to keep the conversation flowing. There’s no winner; participating is winning.
