Why Jurren
started Like Charlie
Jurren struggled with his mental health for years and could not talk about it at the time. Later he found out how much it helps when you can. Not because one conversation solves everything, but because it can be a start.
That is where Like Charlie came from: positive, colourful and easy to approach. Exactly the way he would have liked to meet the subject himself, earlier.

Who is Charlie?
In our prints we tell stories about mental health through one character: Charlie. The name is unisex and international, so anyone can see something of themselves in it.
Charlie wears outspoken clothing, has striking hair and does things a little differently. Charlie is simply himself. So it can be done: Like Charlie.
